Canine Cancer affects one out of every three dogs.  Of those, over half of them will die of cancer.

The National Canine Cancer Foundation is asking for your help to fund important research grants that are working towards improving those statistics.

Through a major project funded by the National Institute of Health, the mapping of the genome sequence of the dog has been complete. Knowing the mapping of every gene in the dog, gives researchers an advantage not yet achieved in humans.

With the completion of the mapping of the entire Genome Sequence of the dog, we are closer now than ever to finding a cure for Cancer. Your donation will make a dramatic impact as the National Canine Cancer Foundation moves life-altering research out of the lab and into canine clinical trials. Research that also gives us a chance to save our own lives.

Researchers agree that many of the new cancer treatments and cures that we find for dogs will also help treat and cure humans.

We now have the chance, that both dogs and humans need, to find out what causes cancer and how to stop it. The only factor keeping the research from moving forward is a lack of grant money. That is where you come in; your donation will fund canine cancer research.

Dogs owners have experienced and understand the special bond that exist between a dog and its owner.  It is truly a gift to be on the receiving end of the unconditional love that a dog can provide. We ask that you help us all in reducing the heartbreak of losing a dog to cancer and help us in our mission to stop canine cancer by giving a generous donation.  This is your chance to make a difference.
